We pride ourselves on our proprietary sleep training materials, which include some of the best sleep tracings, multimedia, and training manuals in sleep disorders education. We also give the most current data available with each class and include references to support each presentation.
The full sleep training experience includes a balance of classroom instruction and both clinical and technical hands-on instruction. Our pledge is to exceed the students' expectations and provide an unbiased and fulfilling educational experience covering all aspects of sleep medicine, sleep training, polysomnography training, sleep disorder education and registry review.

Our educational environment is also truly unique. We know how difficult it may be to leave family behind and go to a distant location for extended stays. That's why we've selected one of the best sleep school locations available. Why leave family behind when they can have fun while you're in class? Our location page contains information about attractions surrounding our school, along with an interactive area map. For more information and driving directions, visit the Location page.
Course Prerequisites: Each course has a seperate list of prerequisites. However, all courses require a prerequisite of no less than a high school deploma or high school graduate equivalency deploma (GED).
Alumni Extranet: Our alumni have direct access to the Alabama School of Sleep Medicine and Technology Extranet, which houses our Document Library and other educational materials. The library contains specific documents on sleep medicine and technology education that you can download or print for your use. Our Document Library includes information on subjects such as sleep apnea, narcolepsy, insomnia, parasomnias, MSLT and MWT procedures, routine polysomnography, sleep-related policy and procedures, and many topics. The user can search the library by document title, subject, and category or file type.
As alumni, you may use any of the documents for your personal use, but please do not duplicate, disseminate or re-use whole or parts of documents without contacting us for permission first. Each alumnus must complete the "Request Login" section under "Quick Links" to receive a password and login ID.
